VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

We count on our generous community members to support building community, taking care of our gardens and staffing our events through the year. Volunteer opportunities are limited and shift depending on the season, so be sure to check back here for current and upcoming opportunities.

GARDEN MAINTENANCE:

While our educators and students do much of the work, we can always use help with weeding, watering, painting garden signs, planting, harvesting and more over the summer season - Gardening is a true community effort and the kids, the plants, the soil, and all the garden inhabitants thank you! !

Email erin@landtolearn.org for more details and get signed up for the season.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT:

Our communities are the north star of our work and to best serve them, we need to actively hear them. By helping to collect community feedback and participating in outreach events, these volunteers support the improvement of our current programs and help shape future initiatives. This could look like tabling at a farmer’s market, engaging with friends about our work, and sharing our updates! We welcome high school kids who would like to complete community service hours for the National Honor Society, and similar organizations.

SPECIAL EVENTS:

Periodically volunteers are needed to support the execution of community and fundraising events for Land to Learn. Possible roles include checking in guests, setup/breakdown, tabling and running educational activities.

FUNDRAISING SUPPORT:

Want to support Land to Learn in your own unique way? Raising funds through a personal fundraiser on platforms like Facebook or Instagram can be a simple, rewarding, and fun way to connect with family and friends in support of a great cause that you’re passionate about. It’s as easy as asking for donations as gifts to celebrate your birthday, graduation, wedding or even in honor or memory of someone you love. Consider us for your company’s matching donation.
