Rooted in the Community. Present at Every Table.
Land to Learn isn't just a program — it's a presence. You'll find us at farmers markets chatting with families about gardens and fresh food, setting up at seed swaps encouraging kids to get their hands in the dirt, and showing up at community events across the region because we believe that's where the real work happens. From school hallways to parade routes, from environmental festivals to neighborhood gatherings, we go where the community goes — because that's where kids and families are, and that's where connection starts.
Our community engagement isn't just about visibility. Every table we set up, every event we attend, is an opportunity to meet families where they already are and share what we're learning together. Whether it's a quick conversation about how to get more veggies onto the dinner table or a deeper dive into what Land to Learn is doing for kids across the Hudson Valley, we love showing up, sharing our story, and listening to yours.
WE’d love to participate in your event!
Know of an upcoming event that could use a little more community goodness? We'd love to be there. If your event brings families, kids, or community members together — and especially if it connects to food, health, the environment, education, or youth — we'd love to talk about how Land to Learn can be part of it. We bring enthusiasm, energy, and a whole lot of ideas for engaging with your audience in a way that feels fun and meaningful.
We have interactive and educational materials for kids to connect with, like a composting worm bucket, make-your-own bookmarks, scavenger hunts, coloring sheets and more!
Reach out and let's make it happen. Email Erin at erin@landtolearn.org.
